FAQ
What is Criteria?
Criteria evaluates advertising ideas while they're still a brief. Unlike a general-purpose AI, which always finds a way to agree with you, it tells you coldly where the idea is strong and where it's thin, and hands you an argument to defend it.
How does the evaluation work?
Your idea goes through stages: the system checks how original it is, classifies it within the closest creative territory, and evaluates it by festival criteria. The result comes as cards. Each one focuses on a different angle of the feedback.
Does it work for any kind of idea?
No. Criteria was designed for creative ideas in advertising: campaigns, activations, brand platforms, content. Academic theses, business plans and products fall outside the evaluation territory; in those cases the result may be confusing or misleading.
What changes between Creative, Strategist and Marketing?
They are angles for reading your idea. The choice signals what you want to see first: the Creative is interested in craft and tier; the Strategist, in diagnosis and metric; the Marketing, in positioning and viability.
Is my idea saved?
No. The text of your idea is not stored. The system records only usage metadata (who ran it, when, which tier), never the body of the idea.
How accurate is the result?
The tier is an estimate, not a fixed number. Real juries vary: an idea evaluated as Silver may win Gold, Bronze or nothing, depending on the year, the jury and the competition. Use it as vocabulary to discuss and compare, not as a verdict.
Does Criteria replace the jury?
Relax, jurors. This AI isn't going to steal your jobs. Criteria is a tool that evaluates ideas that don't have results yet. The whole point is to use it while the idea still lives on paper. It would be unfair to compare it to the material a jury receives.
Can I use it to present to a client?
Use it as a co-pilot, not as an appeal to authority. The cards give you language to explain why one idea has more strength than another, help you anticipate gaps and rank internal options. But "Criteria said it's Gold" doesn't replace your pitch.
